What we do
The New York State Longitudinal Data System Technical Assistance Center provides training and assistance to Regional Information Centers and Big 5 City School Districts in support of the New York State Education Department’s initiative to collect and report information to the statewide Longitudinal Data System.
Goals

- Improve the quality of the data submitted through SIRS by providing more comprehensive and consistent training materials.
- Define roles and responsibilities of data team members so that training may be more targeted.
- Expand the knowledge base of Regional Information Centers and Big 5 City School Districts so they provide more effective and concise support to District Data Coordinators.
