Funding Opportunity: Removing Barriers to CTE Programs for English Language Learner’s and Students with Disabilities Grant Application

To ensure that all students have a pathway that leads to college and career readiness, $1 million is available to provide Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs with support and resources to eliminate barriers to Students With Disabilities (SWD) and English Language Learners (ELL)/Multilingual Learners (MLL), encourage participation in and equitable access to CTE programs and activities, and promote gender diversity in non-traditional career paths.

Funding Opportunity: State-Level Evaluation of the New York State 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Program

The New York State Education Department (NYSED) is seeking proposals for the State-level evaluation of its 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Program that is required by the United States Department of Education (USDOE). The selected evaluator will assess the extent to which the expected outcomes of this program have been achieved. The results of this evaluation will be used to guide NYSED’s efforts to: direct and improve its administration of the program; provide assistance to local grantees; and improve program quality and outcomes for participating students.

Funding Opportunity: Intensive Teacher Institute for Teachers of the Blind and Visually Impaired (ITI-TVI)

The New York State Education Department (NYSED) intends to establish an Intensive Teacher Institute (ITI) for Teachers of the Blind and Visually Impaired (TVI) for a five-year period, subject to continued availability of funds for such purposes. NYSED anticipates that two awards will be made. The annual maximum award amount made to each of the two programs will be $122,750.
